It's getting no love from Microsoft. It doesn't feel like something we can count on being around even a year from now.

I agree about its capabilities. The promise, as I understood it, was something a reasonably tech savvy power user could use to develop simple apps, with some help from a developer. But as we well know, technical capability and market push do not always go hand in hand.
