>You seem pretty passionate about this... as a developer, did you have a bad experience with Apple?
No, I've never had a personal experience as a developer with Apple. For all the ways I'm disappointed with MS, I can say they've never actively impeded my ability to make a living. If you read the horror stories from the iOS app store approval process, it becomes apparent that Apple operates differently; they think developers should feel lucky that Apple even allows them access. MS has a different philosophy as demonstrated by monkey-boy Ballmer's on-stage antics "developers, developers, developers". I hold this opinion despite the fact that I think Ballmer should have been fired a decade ago. He will go down in history as a huge failure; MS moved at a sloth's pace on internet search, mobile, and cloud virtualization. MS's only success under his tenure was gaming. Every other cash-cow by MS (O.S. & Office) preceded Ballmer, though Ballmer did try to kill the MS O.S. twice now: Vista and 8. He was the epitome of a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest. Look at me rambling now :)
