On the file system - this goes beyond what you described, but I have a Seagate 1TB wireless hard drive. It's almost the same size as a regular external drive. I have a ton of DVD movies that I ripped to the drive. I have a folder structure set up on the drive, and I access that folder structure from a Seagate app on my iPad that reads the wireless drive
In effect, I've replicated someone walking around with a portable DVD player and a ton of DVDs. I've got folders for movie categories.
(And yes, I realize someone could do the same with other tablets.)
Other benefits of the newest iPad/iPhone....have to say, the Retina display is stunning. Also, battery life for the iPad is about 10 hours.
Finally, just a personal observation, I think navigating around iOS7 as a user is a bit simpler than Android. Not significantly, but a bit.
