>>Went to see it with my daughter Sunday night and really enjoyed it. A friend at work is bringing my the series so I can read the books. If you are on the fence as to whether to see it or not, my recommendation is to go.

>I'd say it's OK, not great. I thought Harrison Ford was not well-cast, or the director couldn't get a good performance out of him.
He was on the David Letterman show the other night and was really a jerk. Maybe that is his natural personality.
The guy who walked away with that movie, as he walks away with many movies, was Tommy Lee Jones. When he catches up to Harrison Ford, Ford says something like "I'm innocent!" Jones: "Ah. Doan. Care." He is a U.S. marshal and his job is to bring the man in.
I seem constitutionally incapable of posting in a movie thread without recommending something. "In the Valley of Elah" was severely underrated. Along with "The Hurt Locker" it remains the best movie about our misadventures in that part of the world.
