I have a vcx with a treeview control in it. The OleClass shown in the properties window is MSComctlLib.TreeCtrl.2.

It has been working fine for years. We are suddenly getting instances where the control display doesn't show the text for the nodes.
(see the attached images for the correct and incorrect versions)

The same ole control (but not from the same class library) is used in a different application within the system. The control works just fine in that piece of the application.

There are several dozen people using this application and only two have reported the issue. I know that these two users have recently had their workstations replaced and are now using Windows 7. OTOH, there are several other WIndows 7 users working without problems.

I am assuming it is a configuration issue within WIndows but I have no clue as to where to start looking. All help gratefully appreciated.
