Does anybody know of another term for "anti-aliasing"?
If not, I propose "floan" -- relating to the floating point nature of the computation. It also is a play on words for flone, which is the term for an arrow, which means the pixel goes exactly where it's aiming.
anti-alias = floan, as in, "The image uses an anti-alias algorithm," which is "The image uses a floan algorithm."
anti-aliased = floaned, as in, "The image is anti-aliased onto the original," which is "The image is floaned onto the original."
anti-aliasing = floaning, as in, "The algorithm uses anti-aliasing to blend the pixels," which is "The algorithm uses floaning to blend the pixels."
