Right, but when you can get a decent VPS for $10/mo, the days when you had no choice between a shared host and a dedicated server at humongo cost are gone. There's no good reason to be on a shared host server anymore: they aren't made to be app servers.
While there is Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt about many things (including whether Microsoft under Elop would even continue creating developer tools, cf Symbian and Meego and QT), there is none about finding a reasonably-priced server on which to run Lianja.
