There has been some discussion on UT and via email about buying old 2.6Pro disks. There is/was an easy way to get old disks from MS.

Here is my story:

I had 2.6STANDARD when I was learning FP several years ago. I then developed an app I needed to complile and sell but 2.6PROFESSIONAL with the DIST KIT had been discontinued because VFP3.0 had been released. I was frantic. For 8 days, I called every retailer and wholesaler I could think of in the US and CDA to no avail. I certainly called MS more than once. Finally, an MS sales person explained that if you own a newer version of any MS software, you are entitled to buy BACKUP copies of older versions of that software. So... I bought 3.0 from him and then ordered the 2.6Pro 'backup disks' for $50ish US.

I believe that this procedure is the only legal method of obtaining Windows NT 3.51. Therefore, I presume this procedure still holds for FP, assuming MS has product.
