Here's an annoyance for which I'm trying to find a solution:
Developer B contracts with Developer A to consult on a VFP project; the remote Developer A connects to Developer B's desktop via LogMeIn, and is allowed full control (not just the ability to view). The browser is a recent version of IE.

The connection is established and pair-programming is working well until-- Developer A presses Ctrl-W to close a code window; IE grabs that keystroke and closes the tab that the LogMeIn session was running in which ends the session. The code window remains open on Developer B's desktop. It's easy enough to reestablish the session, but the interruption in the workflow is counterproductive.

Can IE's Ctrl-W keyboard shortcut be disabled?

Thanks,
Randy Bosma
