I know I have said this before but this is a great service you are offering free.
I have no plans to use the cloud unless I have to. MS says it's secure but the thought of putting mission critical data out there still makes me nervous. Thanks. I was doing weekly webcasts for roughly 3 months in the beginning of the year, then stopped because of work/personal life demands.
I'm back to doing them again and am really trying to stick to a weekly schedule. I need someone to offer me a Guinness at the end of every webcast....that would help for incentive. :)
On Azure....my personal advice is that anyone doing database development should be aware of what MS is offering for things like Azure SQL Databases and Power BI for Office 365. Doesn't mean someone has to master it - just be aware of the offerings.
I realize some installations won't want to touch the cloud and will want to host on-premises (or through an established managed service). But unlike 2 years ago, I think it's truly "getting better" and is an option for some places.
