The great thing about golf is that, barring anything catastrophic (like becoming a paraplegic or something like that), it is a sport that you can play for the rest of your life. I don't downhill ski anymore because of sciatica and arthritis. Don't play tennis anymore because it is too hard on my joints. But I still golf.

Getting old really sucks - but it really is not too bad, especially when you consider the alternative...
