>I'll probably need some education on good western movies.

>Only two I've watched in full were Tombstone (Kurt Russell/Val Kilmer) and Wyatt Earp (Kevin Costner/Dennis Quaid).
Tombstone was pretty good, especially when Dana Delany was on the screen.
If you liked that one, you might like My Darlin' Clementine- John Ford's classic take on the shootout at the OK corral. Walter Brennan, who plays Pa Clayton, steals scene after scene.
Unfortunately, the line between the really good ones and the awful ones is often very thin and an awful western can be painful.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
