Hi All:

How do I suppress system messages going to the status bar.

If I issue a SET MESSAGE TO 'blarg', then 'blarg' appears on the status bar, BUT when I issue a REINDEX, then the text 'nnnn records reindexed' appears for a few seconds, then reverts to 'blarg'. I want to suppress the 'nnnn records reindexed' message and display 'blarg' throughout.
