Ok, that's right. That's the way to do it. However, initially, when we first discussed this, I did not had a crash. This is why it led me to think otherwise. Running SSMS as admin to attach the database did not make it crash. So, I will be ok with that.

The hotfixes mentioned are older that my installation so there was nothing to do about that.
