Maybe I wasn't clear...
There is no header in the incoming Excel file to delete. The first row in the incoming Excel file is data that appendfromexcel() is assuming to be header, and stuffing into the cursor header. So if there is a value of 10.00 in a first row cell, say cell AG, then 10.00 appears in the corresponding column of the cursor header. This is what I wish to prevent.
