Update - when I drop the msink control on a form and start to adjust properties, I'm getting some definitely clues that VFP can't handle it.
When trying to adjust the collectingink property from .f. to .t. (or vice-versa) I get the following error:
OLE error code 0x8002000e: Invalid number of parameters.
Am I the only one using the msink control? This is a real problem in Windows 8.1! My code still works just fine in Windows 8 and earlier...

>>VFP9 development and my app both give this error upon running any form with the activeX control. I have also tried running in Win7 (and earlier) compatibility modes, etc. So far, all behave with the same error message.
