I've got a piece of freeware that searches ALL parts of a VFP app for a specific string. I tested this to see if a view in the data-environment would appear during the search, and it DOES work as long as you know the name of the view within the data-environment. (Some folks have the nasty habit of renaming junk in the data-environment - a foolish move if you ask me) - but, none the less it works.
