So I've heard that you got a spycam each half a mile on the average. The trouble with the US is that they may have just as much, but they're decentralized, i.e. it's sometimes near impossible to find out who's operating the one you're interested in.
I've also heard that most of the camera bubbles, like 75% of them, are actually empty. They work by the principle that an empty rifle is mightier than a charged one - scares two guys, not just one :).
