Mine had to bend my knees while I was laying back (I had complete rupture of the quadricep tendons - both knees). She'd press until she figured I looked like I was in real pain and then let off for a couple of seconds. One time, she pushed up on my foot faster and harder than she'd intended and I let out a squeal/screech. She said, "Well, there's a sound I haven't heard from you before." And then she laughed. Of course, I didn't want to give her the satisfaction, so I laughed too (through my tears).
