>>Do you realize how UTTERLY ABSURD...and I mean MIND-BLOWING, UTTERLY ABSURD it would be, for his top policy and political people/advisors to have a debate on a KEY message of his SIGNATURE legislation.....on a significant promise to the American people....being given by a president over and over again with such bold emphasis..."Let me be clear....make no mistake....Let me be clear...If you like your health care plan, you can keep it". .....while the entire time, the president has no understanding or awareness of the debate between his advisors.

Do you realize how UTTERLY ABSURD...and I mean MIND-BLOWING, UTTERLY ABSURD it would be, for Bush's top policy and political people/advisors to have a debate on a KEY message of his SIGNATURE legislation.....on taking the US into war contrary to its own intelligence as well as that from the inspectors and most of its allies... being given by a president over and over again with such bold emphasis..."WMD....WMD... WMD.... WMD" while the entire time, the president has no understanding or awareness of the debate between his advisors.

Unless you're about to tell me that GWB was suffering from the early stages of dementia, as Reagan might have during 1986-1987....the context doesn't pass any sniff test whatsoever.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
