The Debt of Pleasure, by John Lanchester is a little gem. One of the best ever.

I just finished my first reading of Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce.
Wow- could that man handle prose!

Next up - An American Life - Ronald Reagan's autobiography.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
