See the Walton family. Owners of Walmart, more money than you and I can imagine and shops staffed by people who need to get food parcels from charities. The situation in Greece has little to do with socialism and a lot to do with corruption and bad banking practise.I do not begrudge the Walton family their assets. They worked very hard to earn them. And Walmart provides millions of jobs to people who would otherwise be on the dole. Still, Sam Walton is not the only person in the US that has any money. Plenty of others have money. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Larry Ellison and David Koch all have more money than Christy Walton and family.
You made the statement that
one person end up with all the money. Clearly that is not true.
If an entrepreneur takes all the initial risk and starts a business, is there some good reason that all the people who work for him (who are not risk takers and did not invest any of their own assets to launch the venture) should earn more than a paycheck? I am sure you have a good reason - because they are somehow entitled to it...
We will just have to agree to disagree about the cause of the situation in Greece. Clearly this is just one example of corruption and bad banking practice:
