>There are some books I loved in my late teens/early 20's but when I look through them again, I realize they were "stage" books (Catcher in the Rye definitely falls into that category). But Good Times/Bad Times is one with some real raw human emotion that both young adults and adults can relate to.

"The Catcher in the Rye" is still on my repeated readings list. About every 5 years. My daughter Emily, who is smarter than I ever was, has it on her Facebook page, or at least did the last time I looked. I have defriended, or unfriended, or whatever the word is, both of them. From a young age I have respected their privacy. It is their place to talk with their friends. I don't stick my nose in.
