They used to have a good inter-library system with other libes in Lake County but that went away with the local budget cutbacks.

I am trying to make her go to the library more, but she "needs" to own the books, I asked her to use her darn Kobo reader, but she "needs" to turn pages for that is the essence of the book, now after donating hundreds of books from when she was a baby/child, still there is no room in her bedroom, I am desperate, I begged her to watch more TV and play more video games!! :)

>>>I read something recently (no idea where) about some research that compared reading on paper to reading electronically and found that recollection and some other things are different with the two modes.

>I prefer paper also, but the accessibility on the Kindle is awesome.
>I got an anthology of Olde English Lit on the Kindle for $.99.
>It has all of Chaucer, Morte D'Arthur and a lot more.
>I set myself the task of reading The Knight's Tale and all of Morte D'Arthur and finally got it done.
>I can't imagine that I'd have done that if it hadn't been so accessible.

I know I should make the transition. A Kindle can be taken a thousand places a heavy book can't. Old habits die hard.
