I wrote a form for the directory selection and file selection (two separate forms) that use the MSCombo ActiveX, the MSItemList ActiveX and several other classes. It returns the file selections in an object. It is designed to be actually modeless to work with my editors but you could change to modal and have a return value. The parameters passed indicate if you want multi-value or single value selection. Attached is a screen shot.
