But going back to your question, Argentina's defense is sub-par, we make it up, so far, with a powerful attack, with some of the best attackers in the world (Messi, Aguero, Higuain) thus I do not like our chances with a weakened attack, and Messi-less in particular (Aguero is my favourite thou for he used to play in "my" team)
