Well, the RTM version has the keys embedded (I don't have to type anything).

BTW, using a special connector I am able to see everything (I think) on my original disk. Could the problem be actually something else?

The Dell technician who came didn't run the diagnostics himself, but rather quickly replaced the disk and left.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
