Yes, and I mentioned at the beginning that 10 years is no picnic.

But this idea of no jail time and a treatment facility for "affluenza" is a load of crap. I don't care how much his parents suddenly decided they coddled him too much and didn't set limits - anyone who earns a driver's license, and then goes out and steals enough beer to get smashed and then kills four people while driving deserves jail time. All the laws about drunk driving accomplish nothing if judges aren't willing to follow through.

Here's the irony - the parents are blaming themselves ....oblivious to the fact that by finding a lawyer who sold this nonsense, they are perpetuating this behavior of not being tougher on their kid, and continuing to do the very thing that they claim caused all this.

As my brother often says, "Can't fix stupid"
