The scene that cracked me up (although I don't think that was intended) was the one where he runs like an Olympic sprinter -- after being shot in the head. The other Tom Cruise movies I liked were "Risky Business" and "A Few Good Men." Not seeing "Top Gun" was not a commentary on Tom Cruise. I just didn't see it.

Never watched "A Few Good Men", Nicholson is a tough sell for me, not a fan...

My favourite Tom Cruise movie is, by far, "War of the Worlds" by Spielberg, I loved that movie but I know that many people disliked it.
