>Meanwhile, I know I've only raised it thirteen times so far, but any chance of a sensible response re the purpose of Obamacare's grandfather clause? The systematic refusal to apply the obvious purpose to your claims could be seen as even more of a false pretext than calling YAG a Senior Exec. Especially if you simultaneously accuse others of ignoring evidence if it doesn't suit them.

On the "meanwhile", I sort of expected a quid-pro-quo. Sorry, but no can do. Here's why....

See the post I sent you a few minutes ago, in response to your exchange with TCH. There are two smoking guns. First (and this isn't breaking news, it's been known for weeks) , it's been confirmed that Obama's policy advisors (and even some of the original AHCA brains) did not want the White House doing this "if you like your plan" message because they knew the consequences, and they objected strongly. But the political campaign people won the argument and the message of "if you like your plan" continued.

Second, the exchange between Eric Cantor and Obama (and others) in 2010 where Obama acknowledged that millions might have to change their coverage. This was recorded on C-SPAN and the entire exchange is available online. It is in conflict to statements made by Obama as recently as Sept 2013, "Let me be clear, if you like your plan, you don't have to do a thing". Had Obama merely made the statement a few times, I might be tempted to say it was a horrible inconsistency. But the facts are way beyond that. These are compelling pieces of information.

JR, there have been four major lies to the American people in the last 2 years

First, the statement during the debates that budget sequestration was not his idea. It was, it came directly from the White House. Even Jay Carney acknowledged this. This was the political circle-jerk of all time - it was used to vilify the Republicans, when in fact it wound up being a factor in the improvement of the budget deficit.

Second, the statement during the debates that anyone making less than 250K would not see their taxes go up a single cent.. The payroll tax went back up, which was a surprise and hurt lower income families. There are many lower income Americans who regret voting for Obama over this. And to add insult to injury, Barack Obama signed an executive order in early 2013 to give Congress a small pay increase. (Thought it was later shot down/rescinded), at a time where lower income people were losing $50 to $75 a month. That might not sound like a ton of money to you or me, but when you're making far less, and you're not expecting that right after the first of the year.....

Third, the insistence for over a month in social media that the Benghazi attack came from spontaneous responses to that stupid Youtube video. The CIA and White House knew within the first week (and definitely by the time Susan Rice went on five Sunday news stations) that this was a coordinated attack from Ansar Al-Sharia. The narrative continued for over a month, to deflect from the fact that the administration had dropped the ball.

Fourth, the "if you like your plan"

Sure, some can say, "all politicians lie". But remember how Obama came to power - with the promise that he'd be different than the political insiders, and that he's be truthful He has failed and failed miserably.

Draw your own conclusions.
