I definitely agree I've heard Rush talk about letters they received, where people say, "I was doing this and this and this when I heard one of your songs, and I'll never forget it".
I should have had Seger in the top 10, as well as Clapton.
The best groups are those who understand what goes through the minds and hearts of their fans. In their early days, Styx was VERY good at that - until they ran out of ideas.
Oh, crap, I also forgot Meat Loaf!!!! I'll have to do another list..."the top 10 songs I forgot to add when I was doing my first top 10 list". Tore will love me for that :)
