I have been so busy I haven't even come to UT for days. Our project is in a sort of hold for the moment.

Thanks for the idea. I have decided to keep the fxp files in memo fields in a table. Up to now I have had two parameter files with the same structure, one internal to the project and one external that goes in each company's directory. The external takes precedence in case both have lines with the same indices. I will now add a third file in the middle, which will reside with the executable file and will contain the drivers. This seems like the logical place for them and will provide lots of flexibility without increasing the size of the exe or cluttering up project or customer
