Wishbone Ash?! They weren't good even then.
The worst band I ever heard, bar none, was Black Oak Arkansas.
Now I should offset a diss with a rave. Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. "Hearts of Stone" goes with me to the proverbial desert island.
