I see that I should drop DOS from my lexicon. But I am still wondering what the docs mean by "command line" that has a dollar sign as a prompt.
>Technically speaking there is no DOS prompt as windows no longer uses DOS. It is a "command prompt". Command Line is the term generally used with Mac and *nix users to mean "Command prompt"

>>I think what can be done is the file/program dotless.compiler.exe can be executed from the DOS cmd prompt. And it works. So I don't know what the docs refer to when they say "command line" but it works in DOS cmd.
