If your SQLEXEC() fails it will return -1. You can then use AERROR() to find out what went wrong.

>I've issued a INSERT INTO SQL to add a record on a MSAccess Table but my problem is I've wanted a routine that will check if the adding of records in the table is successful or not so that i will prompt a user with a wait window saying "adding of records is successful".
"It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much -- the wheel, New York, wars and so on -- whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man -- for precisely the same reasons." - Douglas Adams
