I suppose this is why I posted this question; to see what are the "real" number out there; not necessarily what the tablet specs say. And, since so far, the iPad is the "smallest" of the most popular tablets, I am designing my pages for 768px width. I am sure that once I have version 1 out I will learn a great deal of what I did wrong <g>.
