I was watching a documentary about US prisons the other day (in Florida) . They where appalling. With armed police, capital punishment and punitive penal regimes you guys are the poster boys (and girls) of law enforcement for the Conservative right wing in the UK. They seem to miss the bit where you have high rates of just about every crime type.
