That last part is very true - though increasingly it's becoming closer and closer to hitting home.

In the last few weeks, some deranged nut ran a driver off the road on Interstate 81 in southern PA....and then shot and killed him.
I travel I-81 down to Chambersburg and Maryland from time to time, and years ago I drove that route several times a month. I would have been just as defenseless as the man who was killed.
