Fortunately, my folks were big fans of Ella and Louis. My first brother-in-law was a huge country fan, so I was subjected to a lot of stuff. Fortunately, among all those singers (Kitty Wells, George Jones, Roy Acuff, Buck Owens, Patsy Cline etc., etc., etc.), there was Johnny Cash, so it wasn't a total loss.
