Nope. chr(13) will not work. I have done this by making the grid header height 0, then creating a container with command buttons for each column. You can set WordWrap to .T. for the button captions. CHR(13) also works for captions.

If you leave the columns resizable, you will have to write code to resize the widths and left positions of the buttons as well as the width of the container.
