Hi,

I'm looking at the alternative emailing methods for a quick and dirty way of sending out receipts to clients. This is what I have found so far:

I am on a Windows 8.1 machine running VFP9 SP2 with all the hot fixes. I use Thunderbird as my email program but have Outlook 2010 installed and configured for the email account I want to use to send these messages.

The email account uses
Server: smtpout.secureserver.net
Port: 465
Connection Security: SSL/TLS

1. Outlook automation - problems with security slowing everything down. I tried Outlook Redemption but haven't yet been able to get that to work. If someone can find some instructions on setting it up properly I would appreciate that as I have been unable to so far. I think I need instructions on installing and configuring Redemption in Outlook.

2. http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~SendSmtpEmail - I am getting connected, but then a failed EHLO message.

3. Blat - I believe I need to use stunnel in order to use TLS/SSL but I'm getting this message:

Any help getting me going again would be much appreciated. This was supposed to be a quick 1 hour program :(
