>My execution plan shows that the proper index is being utilized. However, the query takes 18 seconds to select 532 records which is usually done in 0.2 to 0.3 second. So, I verified the execution plan and I found out that three fields of the index are being shown in Predicate and the other two in Seek predicates. Why is the execution plan spliting that in two sections?

Michel, can you post a screen shot of the execution plan, and even the query?
