On the contrary, it might have been the bankers and the government who tried to make a bunch of money by making housing affordable, but were they out there swinging hammers, recklessly building too many cheap houses? No.

We did that. And we bought the houses.

We are faced with the same moral dilemma whenever we want to buy some electronics from China.

We get that decision. And we make the wrong choice. Everytime. Everytime we put our comfort and convenience in front of human and environmental exploitation.

Just as the ultra rich didn't magically sprout Enlightenment and give away all their money, neither would we.
