Interesting. I have never before used a Control Class. Actually, I wasn't even aware of its existence!
It might indeed be a (partial) solution if what's now in a container is not modified in runtime. However, all objects that are now within a container are modified in runtime. E.g. there's a shape in a container that is resized whenever the container is resized.
Thank you for making me aware of its existence. I'm sure there will be cases that it is a good alternative to a container.
