Or you could implement your own p-code engine to replace the runtime (and the "compiler" portion if you want to continue development)... Of course, the p-code interpreter is probably the easy part -- you will need to re-create the database engine (considering one of the main points why one might stick with VFP is that it's got a built-in database engine).
