True - working in part in Java and in part on old vfp projects. But for mobile an offering using local files as cache instead on forcing everything into memory (and having a smarter architecture than the successor of WebSQL called WebStorage) is the missing sweet spot. Might look into Lianja again - took to long to get first version out of the door. Or I might try my hand at fixing up some local file handling with SQL capability to be used as a caching cursor engine for use in C# or Java.

It is the architecture I want mostly, language itself tertiary only to a mixture of dynamically typed language with fallback option to traditional 3GL for perf hot spots. Having a 1-1 to vfp would be a boon, but it's usually only syntax to get accustomed to again...
