Main value is for nay-sayers who insist that 64-bit is vital just as some insist that a college degree is vital. If it keeps coming up, getting a degree simply may be easier than debating the prejudice.
Are you using it yourself only or in production ? Fully with you on the "few if any" opinion: cursors/tables > 2GB can be done in 32bit as well if you decide not to use the table concurrently with vfp. IMO vfp needin to work on memory sizes > 2GB is misusing vfp, as the thread about object destruction time proved not too long ago again ;-)
As I had trouble reading his sites - can you give a bullet point list of enhancements done/fixes to vfp besides encryption of compiled stuff ? From what I gathered, he is still running at speeds similar to vfp for compiled vfp code, but less accessible to Refox ? Or has the compilation to machine code eliminated some of vfp's shortcomings like the heavy perf hit for calling functions/methods when compared to languages like C#/Java/native C(++) ?
