Most installation programs detect when a file is in use, then will prompt you to reboot the machine, which will replace the old dll with the new dll that the setup program wants to install.

I'm using the setup program that VFP 6 creates - I thought it would be smart enough to figure out how to install the DLLs for the activex controls, but it doesn't seem to be!
