The solution that I am using today is very simple. I am using a report form which must display exactly 8 records per page on every page. If the total record count is 60, I must add 4 blank records. This is necessary to force my detail area to be filled with blank lines. Crude, but it works. Anyhow, Since I know I will have 64 records, I just divide by 8 to get the end page number. This works fine as long as you do not have any word wrapping that may cause the number of records per page to be variable. If you know your report will only print x records per page, in all cases, then you can use my approach. Simple and to the point. I believe there is also a MS KB article which discusses how to run a report twice to get the Page x of y. I am 100% sure that there is an article for Access. I just read it last month. Well, good luck and Happy Holidays! Steve
