When VFP 6 was installed on an XP box we could right click on a DBF, select Open With, select VFP 6, and a browse window would open. If the same were done with a PRG, the PRG would compile and run.

VFP 9 on the same box doesn't want to do this nor does that handy functionality appear for any version of VFP on Windows 7/8 machines. It's hard to believe how dependent we've become on small features like this.

Does anyone know where the settings are to get this to happen? Or how it was done?
